Company History

LaRose Surveys, Inc. was originally formed in 1970. In 2006, Kevin joined his father, Ron, to form LaRose Surveys, P.C, to offer the same professional quality consulting services you have come to expect for the last 36 years. Services offered include boundary surveys, subdivision surveys, ALTA/ACSM surveys, topographical surveys, land planning, septic system design, local permitting, and state permitting.

LaRose Surveys, P.C. has been located in Bristol, Vermont since 1970. Both of the principles, Ronald LaRose and Kevin LaRose, received their Associates Degree in Civil Engineering from Vermont Technical College. Kevin then went on to the University of Vermont to work towards his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.

After finishing his Associates Degree, Ron then went to work for the State of Vermont Agency of Transportion as a survey crew chief working on the layout of the Interstate system. He was later offered a position with Lee Lowell, Land Surveyor, in Middlebury where he gained valuable experience both working on the surveys themselves as well as working with clients to solve each one of their projects.

Kevin went to work for O’Leary-Burke Civil Associates, PLC, in Essex Junction where he worked on both large and small projects, municipal and private. Projects ranged from an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey of the Barnes & Noble Bookstore to a simple retracement survey of a small plot of land. While at O’Leary-Burke, Kevin achieved both his Engineer Intern and Land Surveyor license from the State of Vermont.
